Oracle Machine Learning for Python (OML4Py), a component of the Oracle Advanced Analytics Option, makes the open source Python scripting language and environment ready for the enterprise and big data. Designed for problems involving both large and small volumes of data, Oracle Machine Learning for Python integrates Python with Oracle Database. Python users can run Python commands and scripts for statistical, machine learning, and graphical analyses on data stored in Oracle Database. Python users can develop, refine, and deploy Python scripts that leverage the parallelism and scalability of Oracle Database. Users can incorporate Python packages and operationalize Python scripts for analytical applications using Oracle Database spawned and controlled Python engines. Oracle Machine Learning for Python allows users to manipulate data in Oracle Database tables and views using Python syntax, but translating Python functions into SQL for in-database execution. Oracle Machine Learning for Python introduces automated model selection via hyperparameter tuning and automated feature selection to enhance model accuracy and performance.
