Would you like to learn the basics of automating Oracle Cloud and reducing overall costs of running your instances? Oracle Cloud’s pay-as-you-go licensing is a great way to pay for proof-of-concepts, training instances, and development environments. That is, if you remember to turn them off and not leave them running over the long weekend. This presentation includes a step-by-step demonstration of automating the start and stop of Oracle Analytic Cloud. It will give you an understanding of setting up the Oracle Cloud Command Line Interface (CLI), basic scripting, and a how-to for scheduling the start and stop of Oracle Cloud instances.
