PGQL is a pattern-matching query language for the property graph data model, used by Oracle Database Spatial and Graph and Oracle Big Data Spatial and Graph. PGQL is an expressive, SQL-like language that makes writing graph queries easy - even for non-graph experts. in this session, we provide an overview of the different features of PGQL and provides examples of how to run PGQL queries from a shell and through a Java API. in this session, we also focus on what has recently been added to PGQL and which features are coming. Finally, the session provides a brief overview of how PGQL fits into on-going standardization efforts for property graph querying.
Oskar is Oracle’s lead developer for PGQL, an SQL-like query language for property graphs that is used by Oracle Spatial and Graph and Oracle Big Data Spatial and Graph.
