Rio de Janeiro's Public Prosecutor Office, MPRJ, works for and on behalf of the people to monitor and prosecute crime. They use data    as a key resource.  MPRJ, built a several map approaches to support the fight against crime and corruption. The initiative called  'Public Prosecutor Office in Maps' includes several data-driven apps including a crime map, social index, etc.  Graph technologies are well-suited to modeling and analysis of datasets for crime analysis. The MPRJ team uses a variety and volume of raw data. Specifically, to build the entities relationships and graphs they use Oracle Big    Data Spatial and Graph, running on Oracle BDA infrastructure. Today they have half a billion nodes growing to 1 billion, adding new data    sources and metadata. In addition, they are using the Oracle's    solutions to fight corruption from an investigation perspective, using the same tool from the 'Car Wash' Federal case.
