Oracle technologies make it easy to include location in analytics, mobile, asset management, and service applications. You can use geo-enrichment to add location tags to business data in databases and data lakes. Built-in SQL, REST, Java, and JavaScript APIs with JSON let you query and analyze information based on addresses, GPS coordinates, coverage areas, territories, or other geographic features. Geo-fencing and tracking capabilities are essential for any application needing to track movement of an object, vehicle, or cell phone. We’ll show how to use Oracle Spatial and Graph, including its in-database tracking server, to create geofences, track moving objects against them, and send alerts, at large scale. In this session, learn how to develop applications using these features, and use them as part of every database and big data application.
